What is the Google Indexing API?

The Google Indexing API is a direct communication channel to Google's servers. When you publish a page, Googlebot has to discover it on its own schedule — which can take days or weeks.

With the Indexing API, you send Google a signal saying "this page is ready — crawl it now." Google typically processes these requests within minutes to a few hours.

Each GCP service account is limited to 200 requests per day. Indexaro's pool system rotates across multiple service accounts automatically, so you never hit the limit.

Common questions

What is the Google Indexing API?

The Google Indexing API is a direct channel to Google's servers. Instead of waiting for Googlebot to discover your pages, you tell Google exactly when to crawl — resulting in indexing within hours instead of weeks.

Is there a limit on API requests?

Each GCP service account is limited to 200 requests per day. Indexaro's pool SA system rotates across multiple service accounts automatically, multiplying your daily capacity — 5 SAs = 1,000/day, 10 SAs = 2,000/day.

Does it work for all types of pages?

The API was originally designed for job postings and livestream content, but works for any page type. High-quality pages on established sites typically get indexed within hours of submission.

Do I need a GCP account?

To use Indexaro's pool SA system, yes — you upload a GCP service account JSON key. For the Free and basic Pro plans, you can submit via our shared pool and don't need your own GCP account.

Does Indexaro guarantee indexing?

No. We guarantee the request reaches Google. Whether Google indexes the page depends on content quality, site authority, and Google's discretion.
